Christopher got his start in the family construction company while attending high school. After attending college, he was a resort/hotel developer. He grew the business to a multi-million-dollar company and then sold out to a public corporation. He has also owned a retail store in Charleston SC. He has been in financing, and mergers and acquisitions for many years. He spends his time between New England, Greenville, and Charleston, SC.

Rick is a graduate of the Indiana University, of Business. He had a successful career in the Golf industry working for the Acushnet Company in southern California and the Charleston School, SC area. His primary duties were assisting customers with inventory management, merchandising and maximizing their potential profit margins. He is also a licensed Realtor. A resident of Charleston for 17 years, he enjoys spending time with his two teenagers and playing golf. “ My opportunity as a business broker is to assist others in achieving their goals, whether it be selling a current business or buying another in expansion. ”

Scott originally hails from North of Boston, MA. Where he enjoyed decades as a successful businessman throughout many different industries, specializing in human resources, customer service and marketing. Scott enjoys spending time with his family and friends and can also be found on the golf course and playing guitar.

Agli’s journey from Albania to West Virginia at a young age laid the foundation for a successful career in entrepreneurship. After earning his BS in Business Management and Marketing from Marshall University, Agli moved to Charleston, SC in 2004 to manage a restaurant chain. He also established and sold a Tanning Salon in the area. His diverse skill set includes financial analysis, sales negotiation, business strategy, leadership, and operations management, honed through years of small business ownership.

Before his role at Atlantic Business Brokers, he achieved notable success as the founder of Simply Green Landscaping, a local company based in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Embarking on this venture at the age of 27, he steered the business to approximately $3 million, demonstrating his prowess in strategic business development. His entrepreneurial acumen shone through when he strategically sold his landscaping enterprise with the assistance of Atlantic Business Brokers.

Adam Pratt, MBA

Senior Sales Representative

A native of the great state of Maine, Adam was raised in a family of educators and business owners in the hospitality and entertainment industries. He graduated from the university of Maine system with a BA in Political Science and an MBA. Throughout a 25 year career in group insurance, he earned numerous industry designations in employee benefits and human resources – experience and training that positions him well as a business broker, providing him with a deeper understanding of the human side of business transitions, and his clients with a higher level of support. Adam serves owners in all industries throughout New England. When not working, you will find him with family, friends, fishing or on the golf course.

Originally from Maine, I graduated from a travel and tourism school in Pittsburgh, PA. My early career in the travel industry fueled my passion for helping customers plan exciting trips to exotic destinations. Although my journey in Travel and Tourism was shorter than expected, it laid the foundation for my career path.

After my time in Travel and Tourism, I spent over 30 years working for a large insurance company. Concurrently, I held a Realtor license in New Hampshire, where I enjoyed assisting clients in selling their homes and properties. This experience inspired me to transition into the Business Brokerage industry, where I could continue to help others achieve their business goals.

I believe in a personalized approach to business brokerage, understanding that each client and transaction is unique. My goal is to build long-term relationships based on trust, integrity, and exceptional service. Whether you are looking to buy or sell a business, I am committed to helping you navigate the complexities of the process with ease and confidence.

Personal Interests

When not assisting clients with their business needs, I can be found at various concert venues in the greater Charleston area or attempting to master the game of golf.

Kevin Tompkins

Kevin is a graduate of the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Applied Mathematics.    After college, he went on to work in the Information Technology arena for a few years before going on to attend law school where he obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from Franklin Pierce Law School (now affiliated with the University of New Hampshire) where he studied Intellectual Property Law.  After law school, Kevin worked as an attorney for a short time before returning to the Information Technology space where he enjoyed a successful career in a leadership role for a couple of Fortune 500 companies.

Kevin got his passion for business working in a family business in Maine before embarking on his college path and eventual careers in technology and law.    He is excited about the opportunities that await where he can continue to provide assistance to business owners and potential buyers.  Kevin spends his time between New England and the Carolinas where you can often find him on the golf course when he is not working on a new business deal.  He also enjoys volunteering with local charitable organizations where he is always willing to lend a hand.

Taylor Hall

Taylor works directly with owners across South Carolina to help them sell their businesses. A Charleston native, he’s earning his undergraduate degree in Finance at the College of Charleston School of Business. He takes pride in being responsive, resourceful, and supportive throughout the process, focusing on deal sourcing, buyer engagement, and helping transactions move smoothly. Outside of work, he enjoys fitness and spending time with his girlfriend.

Ali Ervasti

Business Development

Ali Ervasti is a Business Development Representative at Atlantic Business Brokers, where she brings a people-first mindset and a strong track record of leadership. Originally from Fenwick Island, DE, Ali moved to Charleston in 2006 to attend the College of Charleston and later pursued a career as a surgical Registered Nurse, ultimately serving as the Director of Nursing for a surgery center in Houston, Texas.

For over a decade, Ali traveled the U.S. and lived abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, gaining invaluable experience and building a diverse, far-reaching network. Now back in Charleston to raise her family, she draws on her background in healthcare, her global perspective, and her natural ability to connect with people to help business owners navigate important transitions. Known for being kind, driven, and detail-oriented, Ali is committed to providing exceptional service to every client.

Rich Hubschman

Rich Hubschman is a seasoned business broker with a strong background in finance and real estate. Rich brings a practical, strategic approach to helping business owners plan and execute successful exits.

Originally from New Jersey, Rich now resides in the Boston area with his wife Tiffany and their three daughters. He earned a B.S. in Finance from Penn State University, followed by an MBA with a concentration in real estate from Baruch College.

Rich began his career in commercial real estate at Marcus & Millichap before leading real estate strategy at national retailers. His expertise in business operations, deal structuring, and market positioning uniquely equips him to guide owners through complex transactions with clarity and discretion.

She began her career in the field of surgical sciences, where precision and attention to detail were essential, before pivoting into the world of coding and digital marketing. With a strong foundation in technology and strategy, Janna now crafts innovative media and marketing campaigns that amplify Atlantic Business Brokers’ brand and connect with business owners across industries.
A world traveler at heart, Janna has gained inspiration and perspective from cultures around the globe. She now calls Denver, Colorado home, where she enjoys hiking the Rockies, practicing yoga, and spending time with her beloved chocolate lab.

Eric Duffner

Eric is a seasoned entrepreneur and business strategist with a strong track record of building, scaling, and selling successful companies across a range of industries. Before joining Atlantic Business Brokers, he founded and exited six of his own ventures, including early pioneering roles in the vape and hemp industries, a medical billing company specializing in forensic audits, and a behavioral health services firm that operated nationwide for over a decade. He also developed and licensed a patented nanotechnology molecule to product manufacturers, showcasing his innovative approach to business growth. With extensive experience in startups, operations, and exit strategy, Eric is passionate about helping fellow entrepreneurs achieve their goals—whether buying, growing, or selling their business.
